This post was originally written and published to announce the September 4, 2026 special deal on the Praxis Bandcamp (“Bandcamp Friday”). It was edited and expanded on Monday September 7 to include some take-aways from the experience.

September 4, 2026 was Bandcamp Friday – and we used it for a Praxis Special.

Bandcamp Friday means that Bandcamp is waiving their revenue share (15% of digital sales, 10% of merch) and hence labels/artists are paid a bigger share than usual. Started in spring 2020 to help offset the effects of the pandemic on artists ability to earn money it was monthly for a while. In 2026 it happens eight times (including the upcoming first Fridays in November and December).

As a special deal all digital Praxis and Sub/Version releases were “NAME YOUR PRICE” on September 4! That means you could choose what price you want to pay, starting at the option of a free download.

Great opportunity to fill the gaps in your digital collection as well as showing your support.

Over the weekend we’ll roll out new prices for the digital catalogue. These will be very similar to the previous prices, but we were meaning to homogenise them a bit for a while (and, yes, albums will get a bit more ‘expensive’).

Single track releases (such as the Praxis Digital Remix Series) remain at €1.50
2-track EPs will be €2 (were usually €1.80)
3-4 track EPs will remain at €3
5+ track EPs will cost €4
praxis_digital albums will cost €6
Praxis albums will cost €9
Single tracks from albums as well as the Sub/Version Digital Series remain at €1 for now
