Praxis 25th Anniversary on Soundcloud: One track a day
Last week of November and first week of December 1992, the first two releases on Praxis appeared. A quarter of a century later the label still exists, an anomaly in the fast moving world of electronic music. To celebrate we are planning a series of events – and new releases.
And we are [were] posting a track from each release every day for the coming [several] weeks, starting now [late summer 2017]. They are [were] posted in the order of the catalogue numbers (which wasn’t always exactly the order in which the records were released). The tracks will stay [stayed] online for 25 days each [some stayed online longer, but only the first 25 days “counted” for the charts below].
In this period we’ll [we] significantly expand[ed] the discography section on this site and add[ed] lots of additional information and documentation.
As tracks will be [were mostly] deleted after 25 days we’ll [we] compile[d] some stats to see which ones were the most listened/liked/shared tracks.

Final remark: The post was edited nearly 60 times with links to the soundcloud player and the charts being updated every few days. As happy as I am about the interest that some of the older tracks on the label still find, I’m a little bit irked about the fact the opportunity to find out about lesser known (and more recent) records on the label was missed by most. But still some of the greatest tracks on the label do get their appreciation represented in these lists.
